FAQ

So I guess this is just like the old vinegar tale?

Wrong, Vinegar contains Acid, there are no acids in our products and no odour either!

I've seen a few Rust Converter products, and then there are other stages involved too. Is that what this is?

No, simply soak the item and the rust will rinse off. It doesn't stay on and turn to something different, hope that helps.

Will the rust come back if I use this magic stuff?

If you soak the item again and let it dry it will act as a protective coat so to speak against any more rust, if you remove all rust and then place the item out side in the rain the rust will reappear. You could also consider painting or coating the item which you have just removed the rust from to prevent more rust coming back? A lot of restoration clients usually plate cleaned items or simply take more care with them to prevent future rust now that they are clean.

Can I get a sample before I consider buying a large amount from you to soak engines and large car parts in? Until you get the gel which I can paste on (which I personally do not think will be as effective) I would like to soak the items as shown in your videos.

Certainly, please contact a member of our sales team on 0845 643 2178 or send your address via email with a quick note regarding samples, thank you.

Some of my reusable rust remover (which is working excellent!) has evaporated (I presume), in the shed it won't be reusable if it all disappears!

The only content from the Rust Remover which evaporates is the water content, simply top up with fresh clean water and you'll be fine!

I used the stain remover I got last week and the stain went away, but the next day it came back, is the paste faulty?

In this case the stain cannot have been removed properly in the first place, although it may look as if it has gone it is best to use a 'blotting' process rather than rubbing which spreads the stain out because as you say when it dries it will come back. Try lifting the stain with this process and it may take a few clean cloths to remove, if you use a stained cloth to rub a stain into the carpet it will never come out. As with steam cleaning and soaking a carpet the dirt moves around rather than being removed. If you spread the paste onto the area and use a firm fingertip slide across the surface you will have a stain coloured paste at the end of your tips. But if this is left in that place you slid it to it will dry and re position itself there. So the idea would be to then lift it with a clean cloth or towel and repeat until the cloth comes up clean. Have a trial with it and I will try get someone from the team to make a demo video for the stain remover product and add it to the Rust Remover vids. Remember a lot of big name clients use our stain remover and the product has been reviewed and tested to the highest standard. Quality is assured with every tub and therefore I'd like you to have another go before assuming the product faulty.

Can I boil your product, the White Wizard UK Rust Remover 1 Litre, to speed up the Rust Remover process?

A lot of clients use a greenhouse or warm shed etc as the product seems to work very quickly with the raised temperature. However boiling is another extreme, and although you are free to experiment with the product I can not recommend boiling the liquid as this could be dangerous and our products are Super Safe!

I have an iron bench painted black, it has some rust on one arm, will this product you sell help me?

Although our product will remove the rust for you, it will not paint the bench black again for you!

Are you sure this stuff will not take off chrome and brass etc, I have expensive cars I am working on, Kind Regards

If there was rust under chrome, when the rust is removed it may move the chrome if you see what I mean, so in other words the rust has already damaged the chrome or brass or other surface, If the rust is just on top and not already bubbling under the surface the product will not remove the original layer. It only goes to work on the rust. Hope that helps.

If i dunk a wishbone or large car item into a big tank in my garden and fill it with Rust Remover that you sell will I have to remove all fixings, plastics, rubber etc? Please let me know asap, Thank you.

Not at all, our product does not harm any of those surfaces, and you will probably find it cleans them up real nice too!

If it doesn't work can I have a refund, I'm just debating to order you see!

Yes all our products carry a 14 day money back guarantee. Please see all terms and conditions for more information.
